How to Use

Take 1-2 teaspoon of powder in a clean, dry bowl.
Mix with one of these - pure milk, curd, pure honey, rose water or plain water - to make a smooth paste.
Apply evenly on the face and neck, avoiding the eyes.
Leave for 20 to 30 minutes.
Rinse with water and pat dry.

Use 2 to 3 times a week for best results.

Patch test first: Apply a small quantity of paste on skin other than the face (such as the inner elbow) for 20-30 minutes, wait for 24 hours before regular use. Not for people allergic to turmeric.

What is Kasthuri turmeric, and how is it different from regular turmeric?
Kasthuri turmeric is Curcuma aromatica, pale cream in colour with camphoraceous aroma, and is non-staining. It is traditionally used for skin care. Cheap substitute, Manja Koova (Curcuma zedoria) is bright yellow in colour, lacks camphoraceous aroma, and leaves stains.
Will it stain my skin or clothes?
Kasthuri turmeric is non-staining on skin when used as directed. Rinse thoroughly and keep the paste away from light-coloured fabrics.
Is it suitable for all skin types?
It is traditionally gentle and suits most skin types. Always do a patch test first for 20-30 minutes, wait for 24 hours before first use. Avoid it if you are allergic to turmeric.
How often should I use it?
Use the product regularly for two to three weeks for best results. Consistent use works better than heavy use.
Can it be used on the body or as a bathing powder?
